Holidays and Food club - Easter holidays
Free activities and a hot meal for Island children who are eligible for free school meals.
Activities are for school children from reception up to age 16. Benefits-related
free school meals are available to pupils if their parents get one of the
qualifying benefits. Before you apply for an activity, check your child is eligible on the Isle of Wight Council website.
Places are limited so please book as soon as you can.
Funded by the Department for Education, the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme means that hundreds of children and young people on the Island have enjoyed activities via Connect4communities. You can read more about the scheme in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight on this website.

Active Holiday Camps keep children active during school holidays in a fun, positive and inclusive environment.They offer a wide variety of choice for all ages, including fun games, team sports, football, dance, musical theatre, acro gymnastics, outdoor pursuits and other sports and activities.

Indoor play session in the three-storey soft play. Daily age-related enrichment activities to assist with basic skill in a fun and creative way. Additional fun activities like magicians, story reading corner, or comic book characters. Participants and their parents/carer have access to a hot meal during the session.

For ages 11 to 18. This programme is designed for young people to experience events and enriching activities that will help them with the development of resilience, character and wellbeing. The scheme will include trips out. Everyone on the programme gets a free hot meal.

Horse riding and related stable management activities are proven to engage young people especially those with SEN or on the autism spectrum. Our activities are physical and predominantly outdoors and we engage young people in a fun way of learning about horses and horse care. Football Fun Factory

The Museum of Island History is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10am to 1pm. £1 for adults and 50p for children.
Newport Roman Villa will be open 3 April to 30
September 2023 on Monday, Wednesdays and Friday 10.30am to 2.30pm (last entry). In
July and August Newport Roman Villa will open Monday to Saturday.
£4.50 for adults, £3 for children, £12.50 for a family ticket.
