Access to Research

The Access to Research service provides free access to a wealth of academic research from any Isle of Wight library.

The service is the result of a unique collaboration between librarians and publishers. Researchers, students, and members of the public across the UK can now access more than 10 million of the world’s leading online academic papers covering a wide range of disciplines.

Subjects include but are not limited to:

  • Agriculture
  • Architecture
  • Business
  • Engineering
  • History
  • Languages
  • Politics
  • Mathematics
  • Science.

Using the research service

You can only access journals from library computers. When using Access to Research, you will have to accept the service's terms and conditions. You must agree not to 'save' any content. Once you have agreed to the terms of use, you can start your research.
