Multiply free maths courses

Multiply is a programme to help adults improve their maths skills with free courses.

You will be able to take part if you:

  • are over 19 
  • do not have maths GCSE at grade C (or equivalent) 
  • live on the Isle of Wight. 

Good maths skills can help you find more job opportunities and lead to higher wages. Or they can help you prepare for further study.

A range of qualification are available including bitesize units and Functional Skills qualifications

Maths courses delivered in Schools for adults

Various Island primary schools are hosting maths courses to help parents improve their own maths and to also support their children with their homework.

These maths courses are open to parents, carers and guardians of children who are attending primary school.

To find out more please contact your child's primary school to see if they are providing the maths course or email multiply@iow.gov.uk 

Information for employers

The council is working in partnership with the Isle of Wight College to deliver a bespoke maths support programme.

If you are an Island employer and you want to enhance your employees’ maths skills in the workplace. Learn how our free Multiply maths packages can be designed and delivered as a bespoke programme for your workforce.

This is all at no cost to you other than time.
