Get help with everyday Maths
Our drop-in workshops give you easy access to meet our friendly maths tutors.
The tutors are great at providing advice about which maths courses would be good for you. They will do this by talking to you, discover your learning style and check to see what your current maths learning level is.
If you have any questions they will be happy to explain how the maths courses can help you improve your maths skills in your everyday life.
Community Workshops
Held across the Island, these cover a range of options that help in everyday life such as:
- Maths Games – cards, dominos and dice games - have fun interacting with tutor and other learners
- Every Day Maths – explore maths used in everyday life, bitesize bits of Maths to increase your knowledge or get you ready for a qualification
- find your Maths Level - take a short quiz to find out your Maths level and learning style
Additional support sessions
- Friday morning session: Support is available between 9.30am to 12.30pm (Term Time) - Adult Community Learning, The Learning Centre, Brading Road, Ryde, PO33 1QS.
